The Delhi Capitals (DC) is a franchise cricket club of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team was founded in 2008 under the name Delhi Daredevils and was rebranded in December 2018 as the Delhi Capitals. Its home ground is Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. In 2020, the Capitals made their debut appearance in an IPL final.

Despite their disappointing performances over the years, the Delhi Capitals have built a loyal fan base. Fans continue to support their team. They made it to the playoffs, finishing third in the group stage in 2012. However, they finished last in 2011 and 2014. DC has only reached an IPL Final once so far in 2020 and made it to the playoffs in 2019. Over the years, DC has let go of many star players including Andre Russell, Trent Boult, Gautam Gambhir, and David Warner.

The Delhi Capitals owner is GMR Sports Pvt Ltd & JSW Sports Pvt Ltd (joint owners are Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao, Sajjan Jindal) and the Delhi Capitals Twitter account is @DelhiCapitals so you can follow their latest news and results.
