The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is a franchise cricket club of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team was founded in 2013 following the dissolution of the Deccan Chargers. Its home ground is Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad, Telangana.
SRH made their debut appearance in the IPL in 2013 and reached the playoffs. They finished fourth. In 2016, the Sunrisers won their maiden IPL championship, defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 runs in the final. Since 2016, the team has reached the play-off stages in each season. The team reached the finals in the Indian Premier League in 2018 but fell to the Chennai Super Kings.

SRH lost their first fixture on 21 September. However, they went on to win their final fixture and qualify for the playoffs. They defeated the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator but lost by 17 runs to the Delhi Capitals to finish the season third.
